The ACT Social Enterprise Grant Program provides matched funding to support new social enterprises to start up, and help existing social enterprises to take the next step in their business journey.
The Mill House Ventures, a social enterprise advisory, is delivering the grant program on behalf of the ACT Government.
Application closing date
Applications for 2024 are closed.
Late applications will not be accepted.
Funding amount
- Between $10,000 to $30,000.
- Applicants must provide matched funding.
Who can apply
To be eligible to apply for a grant you must:
- meet the program’s definition of a Social Enterprise and meet the general eligibility criteria listed in the grant guidelines.
- be a start-up or an existing social enterprise
- have an Australian Business Number (ABN) at the time of application
- be registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST) if appliable; and
- be turning over less than $2 million in annual revenue.
You cannot apply if you are a:
- government Business Entity (either Australian or foreign)
- national-level industry association or group (membership or non-membership).
What you can use the grant funds for
Grants can be used to fund a range of activities, including new product development, business planning, training programs, strategic marketing activities, resources and website development or upgrades.
