InfoSect is a Canberra based computer security company offering advanced security training, systems security and application security consulting services both nationally and internationally. Established in 2016 by Dr Silvio Cesare and Ms Kylie McDevitt, InfoSect offer both face to face and live streamed online training in Code Review, Reverse Engineering, Browser (JS) Exploitation, Linux Heap Exploitation and IoT Security. Training is delivered to small group classes, allowing focussed ‘at-elbow’ instruction from our subject matter experts. Classes can be delivered as public groups, or we can discuss your specific training objectives with you and offer private group training to your team.

The training that InfoSect provides, as well as being wholly Australian owned and developed, is internationally recognised as being advanced specialist training.

InfoSect has a global reputation as a specialist cyber security training provider, supplier of software security consulting, and contributor to novel cyber security research. InfoSect’s team of highly skilled and experienced professionals, led by Dr Silvio Cesare, deliver quality, specialist training which has been peer reviewed by top international computer security conferences. During 2020, InfoSect pivoted to offer online training whilst maintaining high acclaim for the standard of its courses. InfoSect courses have a trainer ratio of 1 instructor for every 10 students and customised training is available for bespoke requirements. InfoSect provides consulting services in software assurance and is prolific in computer research, responsible for providing over 100 patches in the Linux kernel, including core security changes.
