Expression of Interest (EOI) for Trade Mission to Fiji 2024 are now open.
The ACT Government, led by the Office of International Engagement (OIE), will be undertaking a Trade Mission to Fiji in May 2024.
This is an opportunity for ACT and Canberra region to export businesses to explore and capitalise on new opportunities to supply high quality Canberra region food and beverage products to Fiji's dynamic hospitality sector.
The recent launch of direct Fiji Airways flights from Canberra Airport to Nadi opens the possibility to export a range of premium products to Fiji, This Trade Missions presents a chance to leverage ACT Government access and training programs to help your chances of success.
Fiji stands as a jewel in the Pacific, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, warm hospitality, and a burgeoning market for high-quality food and beverage products. As the global economy evolves, so too does the demand for diverse and exceptional products, presenting a prime opportunity for companies to expand their reach into this vibrant market.
The ACT Government will help businesses get the skills needed to prepare for this Trade Mission, provide access to joint-program elements with the OIE, access in-market intelligence briefings and functions, and provide other in-kind support. ACT businesses will be expected to cover their own travel expenses and participate in free, ACT Government-funded, pre-mission training programs.
Program dates are between 7-10 May 2024.

Overview
TradeStart is a partnership between the ACT Government and Austrade and to provide ACT exporting businesses with access to the resources of Austrade’s global network.
The prime objective of TradeStart is to assist small and medium sized exporters to achieve long-term success in international markets.
So if you are an export-ready business, TradeStart can access to Austrade’s services to assist in developing your international markets.
ACT businesses can also access the ACT Government’s Business Development Manager based in Singapore who is available to assist ACT exporters with greater access into South East Asia.

Singapore Business Development Manager
Singapore is one of Canberra’s most engaged international markets, with direct flights between Canberra and Singapore each day helping to grow new partnerships in the tourism, hospitality, investment and export sectors.

To help develop deeper business ties, the ACT Government and Austrade have established a specialist ACT Business Development Manager in Singapore to maximise economic activity, facilitate trade and attract investment.
The Business Development Manager is available to help ACT companies grow their exports into Singapore and connect them into the Austrade South East Asia network.
