ACTPS Staff with Disability and Allies Network
On 7 December 2017, we held the first whole of ACT Public Service Staff Network meeting to discuss how to progress and establish the network. The Disability Employee Network is an important part of our ACTPS disability inclusion strategy. The network aims to assist us to create and sustain an inclusive workplace, to increase disability confidence and awareness while also leveraging the skills and talents of our employees with disability. The network can also offer employees with disability an opportunity to come together as a support network to influence culture and practice around workplace adjustments, inclusive recruitment practices and career development and support.
