VET Administration provides links to key resources for training providers, Apprenticeship Network Providers and other vocational education and training (VET) stakeholders in the ACT.
The ACT Vocational Education and Training Administration Records System (AVETARS) is the ACT VET management system. AVETARS manages the administration of ACT Australian Apprenticeships and funded training initiatives.

ACT Qualifications Register
The ACT Qualifications Register is a public register that displays a complete list of all qualifications available under ACT funded training initiatives including Australian Apprenticeships and Skilled Capital. The register also lists the RTOs approved to deliver these qualifications in the ACT.
To request a new qualification to be included on the ACT Qualifications Register, please submit the request in writing to email@example.com and provide the following information:
- qualification code and title
- details on RTO, employer, school and Australian Apprentice support (where applicable)
- identify if the qualification is requested as an ASBA pathway
This section of VET Administration provides access to relevant forms for Australian Apprentices, training providers and Apprenticeship Network Providers.
There are a number of forms and templates available for the delivery of funded training initiatives in the ACT. Specific forms and templates must be used for training providers to apply for funding, claim payments for funded training delivery, and report training activity to Skills Canberra.
Under the Training and Tertiary Education Act 2003 only Skills Canberra is authorised to make changes or variations to the original content of an approved training contract. The parties to the training contract, the employer and Australian Apprentice, must apply to Skills Canberra to make any changes or variations.
The Australian Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) provides a national framework for the consistent collection and dissemination of vocational education and training (VET) information.
