Road users are advised that work to improve the road condition of Sutton Road will get underway from tomorrow (weather permitting).
Location and timing of works
Road resurfacing will be carried out between the hours of 7 am and 4.30 pm from Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 December along an approximately 1.6 kilometre section of Sutton Road, north of the intersection of Sutton Road and Pialligo Avenue. Work will be carried out in 450 metre sections along Sutton Road.
Effects on traffic
- Sutton Road will remain open to traffic at all times.
- There will be rolling lane closures of 450 metre sections at a time.
- Traffic controllers will be on site to direct traffic through the roadworks.
- Whilst the road will remain open to traffic at all times, minor delays can be expected in the area while the works are being undertaken.
- Signage will be erected to alert people to the changed traffic arrangements.
