A number of roads and intersections will be closed in suburbs in Canberra’s inner south to allow the 2018 Australian Running Festival to take place. The closures will be in place on Saturday 14 April 2018 and Sunday 15 April 2018.
Effects on traffic
- Delays can be expected
- Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route
- Traffic controllers will be on site to manage the flow of traffic.
Location of closures
A number of closures will be in place in:
- Acton
- Barton
- Forrest
- Garran
- Griffith
- Hughes
- Kingston
- Parkes
- Phillip
- Yarralumla.
Timing of closures
Closures will be in place between 4 am and 10.30 am on Saturday 14 April 2018 and between 4 am and
1.30 pm on Sunday 15 April 2018.
Effects on public transport
