Crews will conduct routine maintenance of the emergency fire systems in the Acton Tunnel this Sunday 17 March 2019 to ensure the continued safety of road users. Temporary lane closures will be in place eastbound and westbound on Parkes Way inside the Acton Tunnel from 7 am till 1 pm on that day.
Effects on traffic
- Rolling lane closures will affect both directions of traffic inside the Acton Tunnel.
- One lane will remain open to traffic in both directions at all times during the maintenance works.
- Barriers and warning signs will be erected.
