The Council is on the lookout for applicants with expertise in history, archaeology and architecture.

The ACT Heritage Council plays a crucial role in protecting our local heritage. It helps ensure the recognition, registration, conservation, and promotion of the ACT’s unique heritage places and objects, including natural, Aboriginal and historic local heritage.

Three current memberships are expiring in June 2020, leaving three openings.

I would like to thank Nicholas Brown, Rachel Jackson and Douglas Williams for their significant contribution to our community during their term on the Council.

The Council's continuing members are David Flannery, Ken Heffernan, Gary Shipp, Edwina Jans, Gay Williamson and Amanda Evans.

Quotes attributable to Chair of the Council David Flannery
