Have your say on the National Multicultural Festival

Released 27/06/2018

The ACT Government is encouraging Canberrans to share their views and experiences of the National Multicultural Festival to help shape the event for years to come.

The National Multicultural Festival has grown from humble beginnings as a small one day event to one of Australia’s biggest annual celebrations of cultural diversity.

After 22 great Festivals, the Government is reviewing the Festival to ensure it is in the best possible position for the next 22 years.

As part of this review, the ACT Government wants to hear from as many Canberrans as possible to learn what they love and what can be improved about the Festival. Canberrans can get involved via the YourSay website.

Stallholders, community organisations, showcase coordinators and other Government agencies will also provide their feedback directly to Festival organisers.

The 2019 National Multicultural Festival will be held from 15-17 February and registrations for stallholders and entertainers will open in August 2018.
