Investing in Canberra’s youth

Released 15/11/2018

A juggling club, a project to support carers at the Australian National University and an Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations Report Launch 2018 are among the successful recipients of the Youth InterACT grants program.

The Youth InterACT grants program provides funding for innovative new projects that enable young people aged 12 to 25 years to lead and participate in community development activities in the ACT.

A wide range of projects were funded this year and I congratulate the 14 successful recipients.

Grants of up to $1500 were available for individuals, groups and organisations, helping to build a stronger community and investing in our future.
