The ACT Government is looking for the next stand out young Canberran, with nominations for the 2019 Young Canberra Citizen of the Year Awards opening on Monday, 21 January.
The Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate young people and groups aged 12 to 25 years who have made a significant contribution to the Canberra community.
This year, nominations can be made in six categories:
- Young Canberra Citizen of the Year Award;
- Individual Community Service Award;
- Environment and Sustainability Award;
- Personal Achievement Award;
- Art and Multimedia Award; and
- Group Achievement Award.
Winners will be announced during ACT Youth Week celebrations, starting 12 April to 21 April 2019.
