Finalists announced for 2018 CBR Sport Awards

Released 02/11/2018

Today I announced the finalists in the running for the 2018 CBR Sport Awards. Outstanding achievements have been recognised in teams and individual athletes from 15 sports.

These awards highlight the vibrant sport and recreation community in Canberra, and how this sporting community nurtures athletes from the grassroots to the elite level, as demonstrated by the range of athletes and volunteers selected as finalists for this year’s awards.

The selection committee were overwhelmed by the quality of nominations and the calibre of athletes and community members that have been nominated.
