Cabinet agreed the Treasurer make a Ministerial Statement on the Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission’s final report on the investigation into petrol prices and competition in the ACT in the Legislative Assembly.

Government Response to the Standing Committee on Administration and Procedure report on Protocols for Visits by Members to Government Schools

Cabinet agreed the Minister for Education and Early Childhood Development table the Government Response to the Standing Committee on Administration and Procedure Report 12 on Protocols for Visits by Members to Government Schools in the Legislative Assembly. As a member of the Standing Committee on Administration and Procedure, Minister Rattenbury absented himself for consideration of this item.

A Triple Bottom Line Assessment was undertaken and it was determined the submission did not impact on any categories.

Ministerial Statement – 30th Anniversary of the establishment of Landcare

Cabinet agreed the Minister for the Environment and Heritage make a Ministerial Statement on the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Landcare in the Legislative Assembly.

Planning and Development (Community Concessional Leases) Amendment Bill 2019

Freedom of Information Amendment Bill

Cabinet agreed the Attorney General present the Freedom of Information Amendment Bill 2019 to amend the Freedom of Information Act 2016 in the Legislative Assembly. The amendments in the Bill are intended to streamline the processing of access requests, without diminishing public access to Government-held information. The Triple Bottom Line Assessment was considered by Cabinet on 12 March 2019 (18/781/CAB Freedom of Information Amendment Bill - policy approval)
