ACT Implementation Plan for the Fourth Action Plan of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010

ACT PFAS Action Plan

Cabinet agreed to adopt the per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) Action Plan in accordance with the requirements of the Intergovernmental Agreement on a National Framework for Responding to PFAS Contamination and the PFAS National Environment Management Plan.

Council of Australian Government’s Meeting – 9 August 2019

Work Health and Safety Amendment Bill 2019

Minute number:  18/756/CAB

Cabinet agreed that the Minister for Employment and Workplace Safety present the Work Health and Safety Amendment Bill 2019 in the Legislative Assembly.

The Bill makes amendments to the Work Health and Safety Act in order to establish the regulator as an independent entity under the Act using a single accountability governance model.  This is responsive to the report of the independent review of the ACT’s work safety compliance infrastructure, policies and procedures.

The Triple Bottom Line Assessment was considered by Cabinet on 18 March 2019 (18/754/CAB - Work Health and Safety Amendment Bill 2019 - Policy Approval)
