City to Woden Light Rail & London Circuit Launch Communications Plan and Business Case Release

ACT Wellbeing Indicators Framework

Cabinet agreed that the draft Wellbeing Framework, including domains and indicator areas, form the basis for further public, stakeholder and expert engagement from mid-September until December 2019.

Strategic Bushfire Management Plan Version 4

Cabinet agreed to the Minister for Police and Emergency Services tabling the Strategic Bushfire Management Plan Version 4 in the ACT Legislative Assembly.

Ministerial Statement: Update on Commencement of 2019-20 Bushfire Season and Strategic Bushfire Management Plan

Electricity Feed-in (Large-scale Renewable Energy Generation) Amendment Bill 2019

Cabinet agreed the Minister for Climate Change and Sustainability present a Bill to the Legislative Assembly amending the Electricity Feed-in (Large-scale Renewable Energy Generation) Act 2011 (the Act) to replace the current limit on total renewable electricity capacity for which the Government may provide a feed-in tariff entitlement with a new limit set by the Minister for Climate Change and Sustainability through a disallowable instrument.

Cabinet (Government Business Subcommittee) agreed the Minister for Building Quality Improvement make a statement in the Legislative Assembly updating the Legislative Assembly on the progress of building regulatory reforms.

Workers Compensation Amendment Bill 2019

Cabinet (Government Business Subcommittee) agreed the Minister for Employment and Workplace Safety introduce the Workers Compensation Amendment Bill 2019 in the Legislative Assembly. The Bill makes technical amendments to the legislation to ensure injured workers have access to workers’ compensation, clarify inconsistencies throughout the Act and reduce administrative overheads. The Triple Bottom Line Assessment was considered by Cabinet on 23 July 2019 (19/188/CAB Workers Compensation Amendment Bill 2019 – policy approval)
