Released 19/07/2016

Two lanes of Parkes Way, eastbound towards the city, will be temporarily closed outside of peak hours tomorrow (Wednesday 20 July 2016) to allow for road patching work to repair a large pothole near Sullivans Creek, Acton. If weather conditions do not allow for this work to be undertaken, works will be completed as soon as possible.

Road maintenance crews will commence work at the end of the morning peak traffic after 9 am with repairs expected to be completed by mid afternoon. One eastbound lane will remain open to traffic at all times.

During the work, a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in operation along the eastbound section of Parkes Way.

Barriers and warning signs will be erected to alert traffic. Delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes where possible.
