Offers of gifts to ACT Government Staff

ACT public servants do not expect to be offered gifts and benefits as part of their jobs. In most cases they will not be able to accept any such offerings, and must report them. This arrangement is in place to preserve the integrity of the ACT Public service and protect individual public servants and those suppliers and prospective suppliers with whom they interact. As a supplier/prospective supplier you should not offer gifts or benefits to ACT public servants. This could be seen as an attempt to improperly influence a procurement decision.

For further information see the CMTEDD Gifts and Hospitality Policy.
