The ACT Government wishes to inform motorists a number of rural roads which were previously closed due to inclement weather have now been re-opened across the ACT, although some are only open to four-wheel drive vehicles.

The following roads are only open to four-wheel drives:

  • Mount Franklin Road to the Mount Franklin Chalet
  • Bendora Road
  • Booroomba Rocks Road
  • the dirt section of Brindabella Road
  • the dirt section of Boboyan Road.

The following roads are open to all traffic:

  • Corin Road to Square Rock car park
  • Two Sticks Road.

The following roads remain closed:

  • Orroral Ridge Road
  • Angle Crossing
  • Sunshine Crossing.

Fire trails in Namadgi National Park also remain closed. Gates are locked at some of these locations and will be opened when conditions improve and become safer.
