Same great service, new name for digital magazines via Libraries ACT

Released 29/08/2017

The Zinio digital magazine content offered via Libraries ACT has changed its name to RBdigital with the same service being offered for Libraries ACT members.

“The name change is due to a recent merge of the vendor’s digital products,” Director of Libraries ACT, Vanessa Little said.

Libraries ACT subscribe to this service on behalf of the Canberra community. Members using digital magazines via the library will need to download the new RBdigital app which is available in the iTunes app store and the Google Play Store. Existing users of the app will be automatically directed to install the new app.

User names and passwords will remain the same as with the previous Zinio service and we are expecting the name change to be hassle free for Library members.

“Accessing digital magazines through RBdigital is a great way for members to read on a mobile device or home computer and allows them to keep the content for as long as they wish to. There is a variety of magazines to choose from including cooking, gardening, science, music, movies, current affairs and a whole lot more.

“Libraries ACT staff are happy to answer any questions or concerns that members may have,” Ms Little said.
