The ACT Government is offering free public transport options for Canberrans to get to and from this year’s Royal Canberra Show to avoid the hassle of parking and congestion.
Canberrans who have pre-purchased their 2018 Royal Canberra Show ticket will be eligible for free bus travel on any Transport Canberra bus service to the event by presenting their ticket to the driver.
A Free bus shuttle service will also operate exclusively between EPIC and the City Bus Station at 7.30pm and 12:00am on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 February 2018.
On Friday 23 February 2018 EPIC will also be serviced by the high frequency Red Rapid 200 series (Routes 200, 251, 252, 254, 255 and 259) and Routes 56, 57 and 58.
1. Routes 200, 251, 252, 255, 259 – links Gungahlin, Mitchell, Dickson, City, Russell, Barton, Kingston and Fyshwick.
2. Route 56 – services Gungahlin to the City via Palmerston, Franklin and Mitchell.
3. Route 57 – services Gungahlin to the City via Franklin and Mitchell.
4. Route 58 – services Gungahlin to the City via Harrison.
From other bus stations or major town centres, catch a Blue Rapid 300 series (Routes 300, 313, 314, 315, 316, 318, 319 and 343) to the City Bus Station where you can take connecting services to the Show (200 series, 56, 57 and 58) from Platform 8.
On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February 2018 EPIC is serviced by Routes 200, 956 and 958.

3. Route 958 – services Gungahlin to the City via Harrison, Franklin and Mitchell
From other bus stations or major town centres, catch a Blue Rapid 300 series to the City Bus Station where you can take connecting services to the Show (200, 956 or 958) from Platform 8.
All buses will stop outside the main gate in the temporary bus stop between 8:00am to close of business on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 February and between 8:00am – 7:00pm on Sunday 25 February.
For those who have not pre-purchased a show ticket, or are not catching the free shuttle bus normal fair prices will apply. The cheapest and easiest way to travel by bus is with a MyWay card, available from any MyWay Recharge Agent, online or by calling 13 17 10. Alternatively cash fares are available on board.
