The ACT Government is welcoming new ideas for the future use of the Former Transport Depot through a Request for Proposal process, with the current licence expiring on 30 June 2025.
The successful proponent will be offered a multi-year licence to use the heritage listed 5,000 sqm historic building in Kingston.
Joint proposals are welcome, and the licence may be awarded to multiple suppliers to operate from the Former Transport Depot on different days or using different sections of the building.
The building has recently been upgraded and is part of the future Kingston Arts Precinct, so is ideally located to host markets, arts activities and events.
A site inspection is available for interested parties to visit the Former Transport Depot on 12 February.
Requests for Proposals can be submitted by 10 March via the Tenders ACT website.
