Learn more about the latest land release in Taylor

Released 01/09/2017

An information expo will be held tomorrow for residents interested in taking part in the public ballot for 142 single residential blocks in the Gungahlin suburb of Taylor.

This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about this modern, carefully planned community which features an abundance of green spaces, a stunning neighbourhood park, future local shops and a central P-6 school scheduled to open in 2019.

Blocks offered in this ballot range between 250 and 584 square metres in size and are priced from $225,000 to $425,000, with 32 blocks under $300,000 available as land rent for eligible buyers.

Presentations will be held at tomorrow’s expo at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm where you can find out more about the land for sale, the purchasing process, what you can build in the estate as well as what is happening in the wider Gungahlin area.

There will also be representatives from ACT Revenue, the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate, the Education Directorate and land rent lenders to answer questions.

Ballot registrations will open at 10 am Monday, 4 September and close at 4 pm Friday,
15 September 2017.

When completed, Taylor is expected to contain approximately 2,500 dwellings and have a population of 6,500 people. The suburb is planned to have district playing fields, playgrounds, parkland and shared paths connecting to the adjacent suburbs of Casey and Jacka.
