Taylor residential blocks up for sale in ballot

Canberrans wishing to by a block of land and build their new home are invited to take part in a public ballot for 142 single residential blocks in the Gungahlin suburb of Taylor, four  kilometres from the Town Centre.

This ballot is an excellent opportunity to purchase into this modern, carefully planned community which features an abundance of green spaces, a stunning neighbourhood park, future local shops and a central P-6 school scheduled to open in 2019.

Blocks offered in this ballot range between 250 and 584 square metres in size and are priced from $225,000 to $425,000, with 32 blocks under $300,000 available as land rent for eligible buyers.

The Suburban Land Agency is holding a Taylor Information Expo on Saturday, 2 September at Gungahlin Lakes to inform the community about the land for sale, the planning and design of Taylor, the purchasing process and what you can build in the estate.

Ballot registrations will open at 10am Monday, 4 September and close at 4pm Friday,
15 September 2017.

When completed, Taylor is expected to contain approximately 2,500 dwellings and have a population of 6,500 people. The suburb is planned to have district playing fields, playgrounds, parkland and shared paths connecting to the adjacent suburbs of Casey and Jacka.
