Rare chance for land in Wright and Coombs opens by ballot

Single residential blocks in Wright and Coombs are available for the first time since 2015, offering new homeowners a rare chance to purchase large-sized blocks with stunning vistas of the Molonglo Valley.

The land available by ballot at Wright and Coombs is a premium offering, with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape and huge block sizes sure to attract a broad and discerning market.

In total, 194 blocks are now available through the ballot process, with 50 per cent sized at more than 500m2. Blocks range in size from 403m2 to a generous 977m2.

This release represents the final opportunity to purchase a residential block of land in Coombs and is one of the last chances to purchase a residential block in Wright.

As a result of this limited release and the quality of the blocks on offer, strong interest is expected through the ballot process.

The Coombs and Wright communities have been designed to incorporate excellent local amenities for people of all ages.

This includes the Mingle community development program, high quality parks and exercise equipment, the Charles Weston School in Coombs and a future non-government school which will soon be developed in Wright.

Both communities are also just a short drive to Canberra’s wider employment hubs in Canberra’s CBD and Woden. The Suburban Land Agency will host a ballot information expo Saturday, 24 March to explain the process to potential buyers.
