Road closures in the ACT - update - accurate as of 12 pm Friday 30 September 2016

Released 30/09/2016

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that Corin Road has been cleared of snow and is now open.

Motorists are asked to drive to weather conditions, to take care when driving on unsealed roads, and not to drive through flooded low level crossings for any reason. Please stay clear of flooded lakes, ponds and cycle paths.

The public should also be aware that forecast high winds combined with recent wet weather may cause trees and branches to fall onto roads, pathways, parks and public spaces. Signage will be erected to advise motorists of conditions in certain areas. For your own safety, please assist us by obeying all signage.

The following roads currently remain closed across the ACT:

  • Old Boboyan Road
  • Booroomba Rocks Road
  • Orroral Ridge Road
  • Murrays Corner

The following crossings are also closed:

  • Swamp Creek Crossing
  • Angle Crossing
  • Sunshine Crossing
  • Oaks Estate Crossing

The following roads remain closed except for four wheel drive vehicles:

  • the unsealed section of Boboyan Road
  • the unsealed section of Brindabella Road.

For information on road closures please call Access Canberra on 13 22 81 or visit www.tccs.act.gov.au
