Monaro Highway southbound lane closure

Released 23/11/2017

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users of a temporary lane closure on the Monaro Highway.

The right hand lane (overtaking lane) of the Monaro Highway southbound has been closed for approximately 900 metres on the approach to Johnson Drive. A reduced speed limit of 60 km/h is currently in place on this section of road.

This temporary closure will be in place until tomorrow morning, Friday 24 November 2017.

The lane closure is due to road resealing works which were unable to be completed due to a storm event in the area.

Barriers and warning signs will be erected to alert people to the closure.

For up-to-date information on road closures please call Access Canberra on 13 22 81 or visit www.tccs.act.gov.au.
