Road resurfacing works will be conducted today, Thursday 7 March 2019, on Coulter Drive, Belconnen. These works will require a series of road closures on and around Coulter Drive.
Coulter Drive will be closed in both directions between Belconnen Way and Shumack Street and there will be rolling closures on the southbound lanes between Southern Cross Drive and Nettlefold Street. A closure will also be in place on Lachlan Street from Coulter Drive to Arndell Street in both directions to allow the work to take place.
These closures will be in place between 9.30 am and 4 pm.
Timing and location of works
* Weather permitting, these works will be conducted between 9.30 am and 4 pm on Thursday 7 March 2019.
* Coulter Drive will be closed in both directions between Belconnen Way and Shumack Street during the works.
* Rolling closures will be in place on the southbound lanes of Coulter Drive between Southern Cross Drive and Nettlefold Street. One lane will remain open at all times.
* Lachlan Street will also be closed from Coulter Drive to Arndell Street in both directions.
Effects on traffic

* Delays are expected.
* Detours will be in place along Shumack Street and Redfern Street.
* Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route where possible.
Signage will be in place to alert people to the road works and detours in place.
