The ACT Treasury has released the ACT Tax Expenditure Statement 2015-16. The Statement identifies and quantifies the tax exemptions, concessions and incentives - known as tax expenditures - provided by the ACT Government in 2015-16.
Tax expenditures are an important part of the tax system. The Statement, which provides costing information for the tax expenditures, supports policy considerations, informs discussions and increases transparency about the ACT tax system.
A copy of the Statement is publicly available on the ACT Treasury Publications website.
