The ACT Government wishes to advise the public that the closure of the Majura Pines recreation area, including the mountain bike trails, has been extended until Monday 8 August. The trails were due to reopen tomorrow.
Work has taken place to remove a number of fallen or hanging trees in the area due to recent inclement weather, but more work is required.
The trails are also still saturated so the closure will reduce further damage to the network. For more information contact Access Canberra on 13 22 81 or visit www.environment.act.gov.au
