Sustainable Canberra Expo is back next weekend

The annual Sustainable Canberra Expo is back next weekend, Saturday 2 November, to showcase the latest sustainable technologies and initiatives to Canberra households and offers a day of fun and learning for the whole family.

The Sustainable Canberra Expo is a free event that will provide an opportunity for the ACT community to learn about and experience exciting new products and innovations that will help Canberrans save money on energy and be more sustainable at home.

Some of the activities on offer include:

  • Test driving an electric vehicle at the EV Drive Day supported by NRMA
  • Get free expert advice on how to save money on energy and make your home more comfortable
  • Learn something new in a free workshop
  • Hear from inspiring speakers such as Damon Gameau, Actor and Director of the documentary 2040
  • Watch exciting demonstrations, including induction cooking with Master Chef Simon Toohey
  • Discover exciting new products and technologies
  • Activities for the whole family including facepainting, colouring in, and e-bike rides with SEE Change; and
  • Enjoy delicious food and drinks from Canberra providers.

The Sustainable Canberra Expo is on Saturday, 2 November at Exhibition Park. Entry is free, but bookings to test drive an electric vehicle are recommended. Bookings are available on the NRMA website.
