For the first time since 2019, Canberra’s vocational education and training sector is celebrating in-person to recognise outstanding individuals, organisations and training providers at the ACT Training Awards.
“We have a strong VET sector here in the ACT with high-quality training providers, offering a huge range of courses that meet the needs of learners and employers. These awards are a great opportunity to stop and celebrate the commitment, innovation and achievements of those involved in the sector,” said Minister for Skills Chris Steel.
“I would like to congratulate all the finalists and winners. I know the individuals receiving these awards will go on to enjoy great careers and I wish them all the best for their future.
“I would also like to recognise the employers in the organisation award categories and those supporting individuals. With the workforce challenges we are currently facing it is more important than ever that employers offer opportunities for continued learning and development.
“Through our Skilled to Succeed agenda, the ACT Government is committed to supporting the ambitions of our providers, our students and our employers. The quality of the ACT sector is certainly showcased with these award winners.” said Minister Steel.
