Nominations are now open for the 2025 CBR Sport Awards to acknowledge and celebrate our exceptional local athletes, teams, coaches, volunteers, and sporting groups.
Canberra’s peak sporting organisations and local sporting clubs are invited to nominate high achievers in community sport and at the elite level who contribute to our city’s proud sporting culture.

Minister for Sport and Recreation, Yvette Berry said the CBR Sport Awards allow us to recognise the excellence of our sporting community and the outstanding achievements of everyone involved.
“The CBR Sport Awards are an annual opportunity to showcase and celebrate the incredible talent we have across our city. Each year it is a privilege to recognise the athletes, coaches, volunteers, and organisations who make sport in Canberra so special.
“I’m pleased to once again open nominations for the 2025 CBR Sport Awards and invite our sporting community to recognise those who have gone above and beyond, whether through outstanding performance, leadership, innovation, or inclusion. These awards highlight not just excellence, but the values that make Canberra a true sporting capital.
