Litter Act Amendment Bill

Cabinet (Government Business Subcommittee) agreed the Minister for City Services present the Litter Act Amendment Bill2019in the Legislative Assembly. The Litter Act Amendment Bill will ensure litter laws in the ACT are up-to-date, best-practice, effective and in line with community expectations around reducing litter and illegal dumping. The Triple Bottom Line Assessment was considered by Cabinet on 12 March 2019 (18/774/CAB Litter Act Amendment Bill – policy approval) as part of the policy approval.
