Cabinet (Security and Emergency Management Committee of Cabinet) agreed to Canberra Health Services entering into contracts associated with the establishment of a temporary COVID-19 emergency department.

Options for managing accommodation needs during the COVID-19 pandemic

Cabinet (Security and Emergency Management Committee of Cabinet) considered and agreed in-principle to a range of accommodation options to manage the needs of various Canberrans during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Coordination of repatriation flights in response to COVID 19

Minute number: 20/231/SEMC

Cabinet (Security and Emergency Management Committee of Cabinet) agreed in principle to the recommendations of the National Coordination Mechanism position paper on Australians Returning Home.
A Triple Bottom Line Assessment was undertaken, and it was determined the submission did not impact on any categories.

Crimes (Offences Against Vulnerable People) Amendment Bill 2020

Cabinet agreed the Attorney-General present the Crimes (Offences Against Vulnerable People) Amendment Bill 2020 in the Legislative Assembly. The Bill will implement a number of reforms to strengthen legislative responses to the abuse of vulnerable people.
