Rail Safety National Law Adoption bill 2013
Cabinet agreed to draft legislation that will apply the Rail Safety National Law as a law of the ACT. Enacting this legislation is part of a COAG initiative to apply uniform rail safety laws in all States and Territories in line with commitments made under the Intergovernmental Agreement on Rail Safety Regulation and Investigation Reform.
Direct Sale of Block 78 Section 134 Ngunnawal to the Sri Lankan Dhamma Vihara Association of Canberra Incorporated
Cabinet agreed the Sri Lankan Dhamma Vihara Association of Canberra Incorporated (SLDV) is eligible for a direct sale of Block 78, Section 134 Ngunnawal in accordance with section 240 (1)(a) of the Planning and Development Act 2007. A map of Block 78, Section 134 Ngunnawal and the eligibility criteria assessment are available on the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Website.
