Enterprise Agreements
Please note 17 out of the 18 ACTPS Enterprise Agreements are currently under negotiation. More information will become available as enterprise bargaining progresses.
The access period for the Administrative and Related Classifications Enterprise Agreement 2026 - 2029 commenced on 12 August before proceeding to ballot on 26 August. The voting period closed on 8 September, and the Agreement was not approved by employees.

Until a replacement Agreement is agreed and comes into effect, employees under the ACT Public Sector Administrative and Related Classifications Enterprise Agreement 2023 - 2026 will continue to be covered by the terms and conditions of that Agreement.
Proposed Enterprise Agreements are progressively added to this website as they are ready for employee consideration. Approved Enterprise Agreements are added once approval is received from the Fair Work Commission. Legislative Assembly and Members' Staff Enterprise Agreement 2026 - 2029
The ACT Government is pleased to announce the commencement of the Access period for the Legislative Assembly Members’ Staff Enterprise Agreement 2026-2029, for employees covered by that Agreement.
Consideration Process
As required by the Fair Work Act 2009, we are providing the following documents to assist employees in their consideration of the proposed Agreement, as follows:
- Proposed Legislative Members’ Staff Enterprise Agreement 2026 – 2029 (PDF 2.6MB);
- The Explanatory Notes that outline changes and improvements to the Agreement (PDF 615kB); and
- A document highlighting the materials referenced in the proposed Agreement (PDF 359kB).
- A recording of an information session held during the access period that outlined the key changes, salary increases and improvements to employment conditions and entitlements. Please see a copy of the information session presentation slideshow (PDF 0.5MB).

Voting Process
The access period will continue from today until the commencement of the voting period at 9am on Wednesday, 16 October 2026, and incorporates the 7-day Access period required by the Fair Work Act. The vote will close at 4pm on Tuesday 27 October 2026.
Approval Process
The Agreement is made when a majority of employees who cast a valid vote endorse the Agreement. Once the Enterprise Agreement is made, the Agreement will be provided to the Fair Work Commission for approval. The new Agreement will commence operation seven days after it is approved by the Fair Work Commission.
