Issue: Why is the dance program for patients with dementia no longer being funded? It’s a very useful and important program.
OUTCOME: The caller was contacted and advised that Belconnen Arts Centre applied for a three-year grant through the ACT Health Promotion Grants Program (ACTHPGP) and the grant period is coming to an end. The caller was advised that ACTHPGP does not provide ongoing funding due to a finite pool of funds.
The caller was advised of other avenues to secure future funding sources, including the ACT Treasury community budget consultation process, or approaching philanthropic or banking institutions which may have eligible programs.

Issue: Complaint about noise ACT Housing tenants.
OUTCOME: The caller was contacted and advised that the matter was being investigated, and appropriate action would be taken under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997.
