Public Service Medal
The Public Service Medal is open to officers across the ACTPS and recognises those who have made a major contribution and who perform their jobs to the highest standards.
The Public Service Medal is part of the official Australian system of honours, and recognises government employees who have given outstanding service, through:
- service excellence to the public, or to external or internal clients;
- innovation in program, project or policy development;
- leadership, including as a member of a team; and
- the achievement of more efficient processes, improved productivity or better service delivery.
Nominations for the 2021 Public Service Medal have closed and the recipients will be announced as part of the Australian Honours. Further information on the Public Service Medal can be found online or by emailing govtsupport@act.gov.au.
