All ACT Government turf sportsgrounds will re-open for training and match play today, Wednesday 12 October 2022.
The ACT Government thanks sports peak bodies and users of the sportsgrounds for their patience over the last week whilst grounds have been closed.
The dry weather in the last few days has allowed for the grounds to drain sufficiently to enable safe use however more rainfall is forecast toward the end of this week and may impact the safe use of the grounds across the weekend. The state of playing surfaces will be monitored closely and a decision about the weekend will be communicated as soon as possible.
