As part of the ACT Government’s Open Government commitment, this document is a public summary of matters considered by Cabinet.  It is not intended to be a detailed set of minutes and does not cover all matters considered by Cabinet.  Among matters not covered are materials considered in the formation of the ACT budget, commercial and industrial matters under negotiation, as well as matters that would impact personal privacy, security and the ACT economy.  Nothing in this document can be considered a waiver of the Government’s executive privilege.

Committees of Cabinet

Budget Committee of Cabinet meetings were held.  Treasury officials joined with Ministers to discuss matters of fiscal significance.

Appointments

Regional Development Australia

Cabinet agreed to endorse the proposed appointment of Regional Development Australia (ACT) Committee Members, in consultation with the Federal Minister for Regional Development.

Animal Welfare Advisory Committee

Cabinet agreed to endorse the proposed appointment of part time members to the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee, subject to Standing Committee consultation.

Government Procurement Board

Cabinet agreed to endorse the proposed appointment to the Government Procurement Board, subject to Standing Committee consolation.

ACTEW Corporation Board

Cabinet agreed to endorse the proposed appointment of part-time Directors to the ACTEW Corporation Board, subject to Standing Committee consultation.

Land Development Agency Board

Cabinet agreed to endorse the proposed appointments to the Land Development Agency Board, subject to Standing Committee consultation.
