Social Inclusion and Equality
Cabinet noted an update on the Student Resource Allocation Program in addition to outcomes from the Early Childhood Education and Care Review.
Preferred Light Rail Stage 2 Corridor
Cabinet discussed options for Stage 2 of Light Rail.
Direct Sale to Murrays Australia Pty Ltd
Cabinet endorsed the direct sale of Block 1 Section 76 Fyshwick to Murrays Australia Pty Ltd for the purpose of developing a transport depot and new national headquarters. The sale will enable underutilised land to be developed and maintained to a higher standard.
Town Centre Master Plans
Cabinet endorsed the Calwell and Belconnen Town Centre Master Plans. The Plans outline strategic planning and design directions to facilitate urban renewal, improve integration with surrounding facilities, provide clear development controls, increase sustainability and improve public transport, traffic and parking outcomes.
Combat Sports – Policy Position Paper
Cabinet endorsed public release of the Policy Position Paper: Combat Sports. The Paper outlines the Government’s intention to develop a new regulatory framework for combat sports in the ACT. The paper is available at www.sport.act.gov.au.

Cabinet Secretary
