Government Response to Assembly Committee Reports – 2014-15 Annual and Financial Reports

Cabinet endorsed the government responses to reports by five assembly standing committees into 2014-15 Annual and Financial Reports.

Changes to Work Health and Safety Active Certification Policy and Weighted Criterion in Tender Assessments

Cabinet endorsed changes to the Work Health and Safety Active Certification Policy (ACP) and Safety as a Weighted Criterion in assessment of tenders for construction work. The changes to ACP will improve its effectiveness and make it more efficient to better meet Government and industry needs.

ACT Government Submission to the Review of the ANU School of Music Discussion Paper

Cabinet endorsed the ACT Government’s submission to the Review of the ANU School of Music Discussion Paper, which focused on three key issues:

  • academic quality and direction of the school;
  • the role of the school in the ANU and wider community; and
  • governance and sustainability.

Cabinet endorsed the following appointments.

  • Land Development Agency Board appointments.
  • ACT Nomination to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee.
  • Appointment to the Canberra Institute of Technology Governing Board.
