Cabinet noted an update on the ACT’s economic and fiscal position.

CIT Campus Modernisation Strategy

Cabinet agreed to further development of the Canberra Institute of Technology Campus Modernisation Strategy.

Government Responses

Cabinet endorsed Government Responses to:

  • the Auditor-General’s Report No 6/2016 – Management of Credit Cards by ACT Government Entities;
  • the Auditor-General’s Report No 3/2016 – ACT Policing Arrangement; and
  • the Public Accounts Committee Inquiry into the Auditor-General’s Performance Audit Report No 2/2016 – Maintenance of Public Housing.

Alternative Management and Funding Models for Sustainable Maintenance of Water Sensitive Urban Design Assets

Cabinet noted work completed to date on alternative management and funding models for sustainable operation and maintenance of stormwater water quality assets. Cabinet agreed to further investigate options to improve governance and accountability arrangements for managing assets in the longer term.
