Summary of Cabinet Outcomes

As part of the ACT Government’s Open Government commitment, this document is a public summary of matters considered by Cabinet. It is not intended to be a detailed set of minutes and does not cover all matters considered by Cabinet. Among matters not covered are materials considered in the formation of the ACT budget, commercial and industrial matters under negotiation, as well as matters that would impact personal privacy, security and the ACT economy. Nothing in this document can be considered a waiver of the Government’s executive privilege.

Economic Development Subcommittee

A meeting of the Economic Development Subcommittee was convened.  Ministers and officials discussed economic development matters currently affecting the ACT.

Committees of Cabinet

A meeting of the Security and Emergency Management Committee of Cabinet was convened. Ministers and relevant officials were briefed on security and emergency management in the ACT.

Two meetings of the Budget Committee of Cabinet were convened. Ministers and Treasury officials discussed items of fiscal importance to the ACT.

ACT Government Submission on the Employment of People with Disabilities in the ACT

Cabinet agreed to the ACT Government’s Submission to the Standing Committee on Health, Ageing and Community Services Committee inquiry into the employment of people with disabilities in the Australian Capital Territory.

ACT Government submission to the Joint Standing Committee on Migration - Inquiry into Migrant Settlement Outcomes

Cabinet agreed to the ACT Government’s Submission to the Commonwealth Government Joint Standing Committee on Migration inquiry into migrant settlement outcomes.
