Summary of Cabinet Outcomes for the Week of 10 July 2017

Human Services and Social Inclusion Subcommittee

A meeting of the Human Services and Social Inclusion Subcommittee was convened. Ministers and relevant officials discussed matters to ensure all Canberrans have access to the right human services when they are needed, that they can enjoy the opportunities provided by the city and are included and respected in the community.

Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Negotiations Subcommittee

A meeting of the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Negotiation Subcommittee was convened. Ministers and relevant officials discussed matters relating to upcoming enterprise bargaining negotiations.

Economic Development Subcommittee

A meeting of the Economic Development Subcommittee was convened. Ministers and officials discussed economic development matters currently affecting the ACT.

ACT Government Submission to the Standing Committee on Education, Employment and Youth Affairs - Inquiry into the extent, nature and consequence of insecure work in the ACT

Cabinet agreed to the ACT Government Submission to the Standing Committee on Education, Employment and Youth Affairs - Inquiry into the extent, nature and consequence of insecure work in the ACT, which provides an overview of group training, labour hire and sham contracting in the ACT.

Government Submission to the Standing Committee on Planning and Urban Renewal Inquiry into Billboards

Cabinet agreed to the Government submission to the Standing Committee on Planning and Urban Renewal Inquiry into Billboards. The Government submission enables a comprehensive overview of the regulation of billboards in the ACT to be provided to the Standing Committee on Planning and Urban Renewal from an ACT Govermnent perspective.

Government Submission to the Productivity Commission Review of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Costs

Cabinet agreed to the Government Response to the Productivity Commission Review of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Costs.

*          ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal; and
