Quotes attributable to Ricky Bryan, President, DeafACT

“Sport has always been important to DeafACT. Social isolation and the resulting physical and mental health issues for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people are a real concern. By fostering involvement in both specialist Deaf and mainstream sports we can play a role in combating isolation and have fun at the same time.

This grant will allow DeafACT to put on a multi-sport Come and Try Day, helping to make connections and make friends. The event is open to all in the community to attend.”
