Cabinet provided conditional agreement to the direct sale of Blocks 14 and 15 Section 64 Lyneham to the Yowani Country Club Limited.

COVID-19 Emergency Response Legislation

Cabinet agreed the Chief Minister present the COVID-19 Emergency Response Bill 2020 (No 2). The Bill contains urgent amendments to various ACT Government legislation to support the ACT Government’s response to the COVID-19.

Age-Friendly City Plan

Minute number: 19/588/CAB

Cabinet agreed to the Age-Friendly City Plan.

Mental Health Planning COVID-19

Minute number: 20/234/CAB

Cabinet agreed to fund a list of programs to support a range of community and hospital based mental health services in the ACT. Cabinet noted that there the dual pressures of the COVID-19 outbreak and an economic recession will have a significant and ongoing impact on individual and community mental health and wellbeing in the ACT.

Translation services relating to COVID-19

Cabinet agreed to ongoing translation of critical information in relation to COVID-19.

Support for temporary visa holders in response to COVID-19

Cabinet (Security and Emergency Management Committee of Cabinet) agreed to provide support for vulnerable Canberrans on temporary visas in response to COVID-19.

National Partnership Agreement for Coronavirus Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) responses

Cabinet agreed the Chief Minister sign the National Partnership on COVID-19 and Family Violence Responses.

Cabinet (Security and Emergency Management Committee of Cabinet) noted the situation update on novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Arts Organisation Support – COVID-19

Cabinet (Security and Emergency Management Committee of Cabinet) the provision of financial support for arts organisations in the ACT during the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID-19 scenario planning

Minute number: 20/248/SEMC

Cabinet (Security and Emergency Management Committee of Cabinet) agreed that health and non-health strategies be prepared to support a whole of government approach to different scenarios over the coming 12+ months, including consideration of their impacts on any relevant domains outlined in the ACT Wellbeing Framework.
Triple Bottom Line assessment was not required for this submission. Any Triple Bottom Line assessment will be considered through the development of the individual strategies.

Government Response to the Coroner's findings relating to the death of Theadora Zaal

Cabinet agreed to the Government Response to the Coronial recommendations from the Inquest into the Death of Theadora Zaal. Cabinet agreed the Minister for Health table the Response in the Legislative Assembly.
A Triple Bottom Line Assessment was undertaken, and it was determined the submission did not impact on any categories.

Response to Resolution of 14 August 2019 – Network19 Weekend Bus Services (No. 3)
