25th Anniversary Parliament House Australian Ballet Commission - Performance series funded through Australian Government sponsorship.  The Project was a new work for The Australian Ballet, in particular, the choreography and design - in collaboration with Aldo Giurgola, the architect of Parliament House.

Canberra Raiders Centenary of Canberra match against the Brisbane Broncos was held on 10 June 2013 at the Canberra Stadium. 

The match featured strong Centenary of Canberra branding and logo placement.  A crowd of 10,419 spectators watched the match at Canberra Stadium.

Golf Australia

ISPS Handa Australian Women's Golf Open - hosted for the first time in Canberra.  The Centenary of Canberra featured as 2013 Presenting Partner.  The tournament was held 14-17 February 2013.

Golf Australia's post-event report stated that the 2013 championship saw the strongest players in the tournament's history.  Excellent media coverage was received across all media outlets, with particular interest coming from USA and NZ.  Over 200 live broadcast hours were shown across 82 territories globally.  Domestic ratings on ABC TV attracted a slight increase on the previous year.  Media coverage included images of Canberra and promotion of the Centenary of Canberra through branding and messaging. A total of 27,800 spectators (1,200 international visitors) were present at the event.

National Rural Women's Coalition

National Rural Women's Conference Dinner was held in Canberra on 19 February 2013.

Centenary of Canberra signage, advertising and logo placement appeared across the event.  The Creative Director, Ms Robyn Archer AO, facilitated a panel of high-profile guests.  The Governor-General, the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO; Ms Maggie Beer; and Ms Janet Jeff attended the event.

Sports Hydrant

The Centenary of Canberra Sportswomen's Conference and Ball: A celebration of Australian women in sport. 

The ball was attended by 280 people on 27 February 2013 at the Great Hall, Australian Parliament House.  Olympian, Dawn Fraser was named Sportsperson of the Centenary.  The event coincided with the Sporting Women's Congress, which was supported through the Community Centenary Initiatives Fund.

Walkley Awards for Excellence in Journalism and Conference 2012. 

The Walkley Foundation is the peak professional body representing Australian journalists; the Awards were last held in Canberra in 1984.

Acknowledgement of the Centenary of Canberra and ACT Government.  The Foundation's gala function, the Walkley Awards for Excellence in Journalism, is a high profile event that recognises the very best in Australian journalism.  The Awards were televised nationally from Canberra on SBS, and received significant national and international publicity.
